StockManager Lab ("we," "us," "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, protect, and share data when you use our laboratory inventory and QC management platform (the "Service").

We are committed to protecting laboratory data in compliance with Argentine data protection regulations and international best practices.

• Account Data: Laboratory name, email, name, phone, location
• Laboratory Data: Reagent inventory, lot numbers, expiration dates, quality control results
• User Data: User accounts created within your laboratory, roles, permissions
• Usage Data: Features accessed, actions performed, timestamps

We also automatically collect technical information:

• IP address, browser type, device information
• Pages visited, features used, time spent
• Login/logout events and session data

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your information to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the StockManager Lab service
• Process payments and billing (in collaboration with payment processors)
• Send administrative notifications (service updates, security alerts)
• Comply with legal obligations and detect fraud
• Analyze usage patterns to improve user experience (anonymized)

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do NOT sell your data. We share information only in these circumstances:

• Service Providers: Payment processors, email providers, hosting services (under confidentiality agreements)
• Legal Compliance: When required by law, court order, or regulatory authority
• LAB QC Network: If you opt into our benchmarking network, aggregate and anonymized QC data is shared with other participating laboratories — never raw or identifying data

• Per-laboratory database isolation (physical separation, not shared schema)
• Regular security audits and vulnerability testing
• Access controls and role-based permissions
• Automated session timeout for unattended sessions

6. Data Retention

We retain your data as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You can request data deletion at any time by emailing info@stockmanager.app. Deleted data is permanently removed from our systems within 30 days.

Backups may retain deleted data for an additional 90 days for disaster recovery purposes.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access: Request a copy of your personal data
• Correction: Correct inaccurate information
• Deletion: Request deletion of your data (right to be forgotten)
• Portability: Receive your data in a portable format

StockManager Lab uses:

9. Children and Minors

StockManager Lab is not intended for individuals under 18 years old. If we become aware that a minor has provided personal information, we will delete such data immediately. Laboratory administrators are responsible for ensuring their staff accounts comply with applicable laws.

We may update this privacy policy at any time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting the new policy on our website with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of StockManager Lab constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
